Massage Therapists

Vivian Okotie has been offering services at Plumyumi for 15 years. She is a native of Nigeria, was educated in London, has 36 years of experience, and holds licensure as both an esthetician and a massage therapist. Vivian’s greatest passions are her family and her faith.

Tawana Hawkins has been with Plumyumi for 10 years and is knowledgeable in a variety of modalities including Swedish, pregnancy, neuromuscular, and hot stone. Her specific areas of expertise include trigger point therapy and Sciatica treatment. During her time away from the spa, Tawanna enjoys culinary arts and her favorite, going barefoot!

Gina Rizzo has 12 years of experience as a Clinical and Neuromuscular Therapist. She has also taken advanced classes and received additional certification in Medical and Advanced Sports Massage. She enjoys going to the gym and spending time with her Lab/Sheltie after a hard day at work.

Lady B. joined Plumyumi in 2015 with over 18 years’ experience. She is certified in several different modalities and holds a Cidesco Diplomat Certificate, which has allowed her to work on cruise ships. She is passionate about making her clients feel comfortable, relaxed, and rejuvenated. Her motto is, “I Feel Good Because You Feel Better.”

Rebecca McCord is a Fayette County native and is thrilled to offer a variety for massage services at Plumyumi Day Spa. She loves helping people reduce pain, tension, and anxiety, and her favorite massage modalities include pregnancy, deep tissue, and hot stone. Rebecca also has a Bachelor's degree in psychology. She enjoys being outside with her dogs in her spare time.

Kim Jag comes to Plumyumi with expertise in Swedish massage, neuromuscular/trigger point therapy, sports and pregnancy massage. She specializes in sciatica, lower back, neck, and shoulder pain. She has a blogging business that sums up her life- clean organic eating, healing the body and soul, and designing your surroundings.
Jill Adcock joined Plumyumi in 2016 with an array of experience. While providing massage in a variety of modalities, her specific areas of expertise include aromatherapy, reflexology, and deep tissue. Jill has lived abroad, traveled extensively, enjoys many outdoor hobbies, and loves physics. She cites Albert Einstein and Mother Teresa as personal inspirations.

Robin Martin has 26 years of experience and utilizes a variety of massage modalities. She is passionate regarding her field and loves to educate others regarding the many and lifelong benefits of massage. And as Robin states, “Because I love my craft, I never really work!”

Evan Kubiak, whose area of expertise is deep tissue, is a welcome addition to our Plumyumi family. Evan enjoys a variety of hobbies including gardening, candlemaking, cooking, sculpting, aromatherapy, and music. Evan is also an amateur kickboxer, is well-versed in German, and enjoys studying foreign languages.

Katie Edwards has been a massage therapist for 12 years in a variety of spa settings. Her favorite treatments include hot stones and deep tissue massage. She is also trained in Ashiatsu, or barefoot massage. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and hiking outside with her dog.

Amy Middleton holds dual licensure in both esthetics and massage. Some of Amy’s areas of expertise include Brazilian waxing, prenatal massage, and facial pressure points. A couple of her favorite hobbies are paddle boarding and yoga. When not at Plumyumi, you might catch Amy on stage demonstrating her vocal talents!


Estheticians

Trisha Colwell has been a licensed esthetician for 15 years and has worked in both medical and day spas. She provides an array of services including facials, dermaplaning, resurfacing treatments, and waxing. Trisha is also highly skilled as a certified lash artist. Trisha tends to be a perfectionist, loves to arrange things in straight lines, and would like for all things to be color coordinated.

Stacy Somerville, a licensed Esthetician, brings over 10 years experience to Plumyumi Day Spa. She offers exceptional services including facials, resurfacing treatments, and waxing. She has a passion for sharing her knowledge of corrective skin care and strives to educate each client on how to enjoy healthy, younger looking skin while providing a stress-free, relaxing experience through the power of aesthetic touch. Stacy is an artist and enjoys travel, music and playtime with her grandchildren.

Amy Middleton holds dual licensure in both esthetics and massage. Some of Amy’s areas of expertise include Brazilian waxing, prenatal massage, and facial pressure points. Barbi Brown has a long history in the beauty industry having been a Master Cosmetologist for 33 years. She has worked in the field of esthetics for 23 years as both an instructor and a service provider. Barbi loves making every client feel special. She also enjoys spending time with family, working out, creating shabby chic furniture, and finds organizing and cleaning to be therapeutic!


Nail Technicians

Linda George has been a licensed Nail Technician since 2000 and has also received advanced training in reflexology. She genuinely enjoys taking care of, sharing stories, and becoming friends with her clients. As Linda states, “I love providing healing touch through massage and making feet feel better!”

Tori Dickerson, a Master Nail Technician, comes to Plumyumi with more than 24 years of experience in all areas of natural nails, enhancements, and nail art. She has worked on large scale specialty events and product launches including those for Vera Bradley and Seventeen magazine. In her spare time, she enjoys playing tennis, reading, watching movies, and listening to jazz music.

Antionette Jones is a licensed Nail Care Specialist whose areas of expertise include natural nail care, diabetic nail care, and pleasing her clients, in general. Antionette is most often described as being “gentle.” She is a Michigan native and a mother of three wonderful children, who also loves singing, listening to music, and reading.

Jackie Andrade is a licensed Nail Technician having recently joined our Plumyumi family by way of Chicago. She has 12 years of experience in the field and her areas of expertise include gel nail enhancements, mixing custom nail colors and custom glitter colors, and handpainted nail designs. Bring in a fabric swatch or a favorite handbag and Jackie will color match!

Bonnie Rice brings 30 years of experience as a licensed nail technician to our team. She is also a worker and member of Friendship Community Church.
